Roger Walker, Principal. Walker has divided his services over the past two decades between practicing environmental/energy law at Armstrong Teasdale LLP, one of the Midwest’s premiere law firms for corporate legal services, and directing the activities of the Regulatory Environmental Group for Missouri (REGFORM), a non-profit association that advocates collectively for environmental policies that enhance environmental protection in a cost-effective, business-friendly manner. Walker also served as an attorney for the Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration and was instrumental in establishing the Missouri Energy Initiative (MEI), a high level, independent “think tank” on emerging energy issues. He is also the former General Counsel for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Walker has a Master of Laws (LLM) in environmental law from the Lewis & Clark School of Law in Portland, Oregon, a J.D. from University of Missouri – Kansas City, and teaches “Introduction to Environmental Law” at St. Louis University.

Environmental Due Diligence and Transactions
Significant experience working on real estate and financial transactions that involve environmental contamination and related issues. Fully versed on due diligence issues, including ASTM requirements for Phase I and II reports, all appropriate inquiry, Brownfield Redevelopment, Voluntary Cleanup Program, and avoiding Superfund liability.
Natural Resources Law
Extensive experience working with mining and resource extraction companies, developers and landowners on permitting issues, water rights, mineral rights, wetlands, conservation easements, endangered species, and related matters.
Two decades of successful experience lobbying at both the Administrative level and the Legislative level on environmental and energy matters.
